Justin Khoo started out Judo in 1996. His first Judo teacher was Sensei M.T Veloo. He furthered his Judo in Japan under the guidance of Sensei T. Koshino and Sensei Katsuhiko Kashiwazaki both World Judo Champions. Under all three sensei’s guidance, he gained an in-depth knowledge on Judo both Physical and Spiritual. Currently he is holding a 2nd Degree Black Belt from Kodokan and also from International Judo Federation. He also hold a coaching license certified by the National Sports Council (Sports Science Level 2) and also the Malaysian Judo Federation.
Apart from Judo, he has also been training Chanbara for the past 3 years. He was introduced to Chanbara by Singapore Budo Academy’s Director Sensei Gerard Lim. Justin took up Kendo while he was studying at the International Budo University in Chiba, Japan. Chanbara was a natural progression and he did not take long pick it up. Under his tutalage his students achieved Gold in the World, Asia and Regional Championships at the junior and Senior Level. Justin himself is a Asian Champion in 2008.�

Sensei Hamabe Takeru a 6th Dan Judoka graduated from the National Police Academy Japan and was in charge of the Criminal Investigation - INTERPOL Japan. Trained in Judo, he was posted as a JICA judo instructor to Malaysia back in 1970 and was station in Penang in charge of the Malaysian National Team. His coaching stints took him to several countries as National Judo coach bringing exceptional results in International Games notably the SEA Games. Currently he is in charge of the Malaysian team and helps promote Judo to youth.
AIKIDO INSTRUCTOR

Ramlan Ahmed Sensei, 4th Dan (Yoshinkan Aikido) is a registered instructor (Level 3) with the International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation, Japan. He began studying Aikido in the year 1995 under tutelage of Sonny Loke Sensei. At the end of the year 1997, he was graded to 1st Dan Black Belt by Kancho Inoue Sensei who is currently the Headmaster of International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation, Japan. In early 1998, Ramlan Sensei became a student of Thamby Rajah Sensei. He has participated in various demonstrations in Japan, Australia, Indonesia and Thailand. He has also trained under world renowned Aikido instructors such as Kancho Inoue Kyoichi, Tsutomo Chida Sensei, Takafumi Takeno Sensei, Yasuhisa Shioda Sensei (son of Soke Gozo Shioda) and Robert Mustars Sensei (Canada). Ramlan Sensei has been constantly going to Japan and Australia, attended various classes and courses and recently participated in the 50th Anniversary International Demonstrations in Japan (Sept, 2005). In June 2000, Ramlan Ahmed Sensei set up his organization with a few objectives:
- To uphold the martial arts way
- To attain and sustain the highest quality of Aikido
- To achieve accreditation for all Black Belts from the International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation, Japan.
- To maintain excellent relationship with all Aikido practitioners internally
Farid Ambiah is currently a 2nd Dan Black Belt Holder learning under Sensei Ramlan. He is the right hand man to sensei Ramlan. A humble yet knowledgable person.

Md. Nashriq B. Md. Nassir started Judo in 2001. He is a graduate from International Budo University Japan majoring in Judo under Sensei Katsuhiko Kashiwazaki. He holds a 1st Degree Black Belt and currently representing Malaysia at the international level.

Ooi Way Loon is known for his tireless work rate in Judo and is easily considered as the most hard working judoka in Penang. To accompany his work rate is his achievement where he is considered as the top two player in the country under the -66kg category. He holds a Black Belt 1st Degree in Judo.
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTORS

Chew Li Ying is a senior judoka in Penang team and helps teach the juniors. Her pleasent personality makes her a great with judotots. Do not let her innocent face fool you as she is currently the national champion in the women -78kg and also a bronze medalist in the SEA Judo Championship 2006.
